They felt they can only give you one helmet, because unlike offence with the quarterback, it's difficult to monitor which helmets are in the game (defensively). Or if the guy gets hurt, a team would be without it and at a disadvantage.

And one game, as we know, can cost you a lot.

I got put into leadership roles very early in life from fifth grade, sixth grade. I always ended up being the quarterback or the leader of the sports teams, and it's kind of benefiting me now.

It felt like a sputtering offence. We'd get something going and we couldn't keep it going and that's why we couldn't get off the hook.

It should have been more than that. When you hit the quarterback, especially with the crown of your helmet, that's the price you pay.
