They came over here for a better life, then his health goes south and he's put on disability, then when their home burns down with six kids -- it's such a string of bad luck. Just when they think they've almost got what they're dreaming about, Boom! It burns to the ground.

It is possible to perceive your health as good in spite of what outsiders may objectively see as disability or disease. If you feel you are healthy and have a high quality of life, that is what is most important.
