These (soldiers) are trying . . . to do their best for their country. They know (the graft is) going on, and they're powerless to do anything about it.

All soldiers who serve their country and put their lives at risk need to know that if something happens to them, their families will be well taken care of. That's the bond we have with our military men and women and their families.

We call Japanese soldiers fanatics when they die rather than surrender, whereas American soldiers who do the same thing are called heroes

Our soldiers are prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice for their country, and we must do our part. And that means voting for the funds they need to finish the job.

We need to recognize our soldiers and military personnel more and that is what we are trying to do. They give up so much for our freedoms past and present and we need to give back to them. This might be a drop in the bucket compared to what they do but I am glad that they will be our guest for this weekend.

War is the greatest evil Satan has invented to corrupt our hearts and souls. We should honor our soldiers, but we should never honor war.
