These results surprised us. Even after a huge high-severity fire in a place that is really tough to grow trees we are finding abundant natural tree regeneration.

We are tremendously pleased with the opening weekend results for 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' in both IMAX and conventional theatres. The unique experience that IMAX theatres offer moviegoers is generating incremental revenue for our event films, proven by this giant record-setting opening weekend and advance ticket sales at IMAX theatres. We look forward to continued success as we enter the holiday season.

Surprisingly, it appears that after even the most severe fires, the forest is naturally very resilient, more than it?s often given credit for.

Why that is important is because on some fires those additional treatments aren't carried out due to lack funds.

Some people—and I am one of them—hate happy ends. We feel cheated. Harm is the norm. Doom should not jam. The avalanche stopping in its tracks a few feet above the cowering village behaves not only unnaturally but unethically.

Do they like what we're doing? No. Are they surprised by it? No.
