These kids are scared. When you're scared, you're going to form alliances and allegiances for protection.

It's a sensible protection for kids.

Coming from the position we were in, we were very disrespected by it. It was just a big misunderstanding.

It's a good honor for our kids to be recognized for these accomplishments. It's just another way of showing how hard work pays off. They're reaping the benefits of hard work.

Some kids need more help than others, ... But if they provided those services in a small setting like that, the kids would get the help they need.

Both of my kids have learning disabilities, and they don't provide the services for those children at Duette, ... They should. Every child who lives out here ought to be able to go to that school.
