There's no question that higher petroleum prices, be it diesel or gasoline or jet fuel, will have an impact on consumers. Everything we do is, for the most part, tied to petroleum products.

We've seen prices pushing higher since about the middle of February.

Things went pretty much as expected. Our goal this year was to win all three championships - Southern Chester County League, Athletic Association of Catholic Academies and District 1. We had never done it before but, we did it this year.

With crude prices forecast to remain strong for the remainder of the year, consumers can expect, on average, higher pump prices than last year.

Having said that, I think that on average prices will go higher. I suspect when we do our weekly pump price survey next week, we could well see prices push a little higher than they are today.

There are short-term questions to be sure -- the impact of changes in residential housing markets and the prospects for inflation are two -- but, overall, the economy in 2006 seems likely to be very well-behaved.
