There were some games where we left some plays on the field. But now, when big plays present themselves, we're clicking.

It's always in the back of our mind.

We just get what we deserve. We didn't have as great a season this year as last year, but we're just happy to be in a bowl.

I'm just trying to take charge of the offense. Last year, I was thrown in there as a freshman. You're a freshman and, of course, they look up to you as a quarterback. Verbally, there wasn't much out there. It was pretty much by example and physical attributes. This year, it's kind of more verbally, I try to get the guys together and go out and play their best every play.

Eyes are on you when you do go out in the public, and I want to minimize that. I just try to be with the family and not make any decisions you don't want to, ... Just being with them because I don't see them often, just once a week, was great just to see them and be with them.

It was actually pretty easy. I really enjoyed the recruiting process, and it's something you can never expect. I just tried to remain calm throughout the whole process. I am glad to get it done before the craziness really starts.
