There were a lot of things that were fundamentals of politics here, but because there had not been free elections there no one there knew anything about them.

Early elections have been brought forward, forcing investors to take a closer look at Slovak politics. We may still see some further weakness.

Elections are only passing events in a far more complex and ongoing process. It is clear from these results that although the ANC will still be the largest party in South Africa, in absolute terms, its supports continues to decline in election after election.

If there are any flaws with the elections, I think the aggrieved parties should take their complaints to the electoral court and this will be brought to our attention.

By all accounts the elections were free and fair.
