There were a lot of kids . . . I cried quite a few times, things went so well.

It was another nail-biter. The kids dug in. We had some good foul shooting and hung on at the end.

If I know they are not all inside, I'll wait. I know all of the kids who walk across my street so if I don't see a certain kid I'll wait around to make sure they get there safely.

When it was very icy a few weeks ago, I actually had to hold some of the kids' hands and walk them across the street. I helped them cross because I did not want them to slip and fall.

Our kids battled. I told the kids at the end of the game that I was happy they didn't give up. They could have given up when we were down double digits in the fourth quarter, but they played all the way up until the end.
