There was no satisfactory answer from the North Korean side. This is very regrettable.

The abduction issue is of the biggest interest to Japan, and we strongly urge North Korea to seriously consider the issue and come up with sincere and concrete measures.

That's totally unrelated to the issue at hand and makes us skeptical about just how sincere they are to come to a conclusion over their abduction of our people.
