There was a lot of confusion in our family about why she ended up where she was. To think her life was going to end down there.

I can't believe it was a random thing. It was with intent, it was too brutal.

Sherry's presence was known. She was always laughing and had a positive attitude. Everybody liked being around her.

I urge residents to take just an hour out of their busy schedules to make a family emergency plan and prepare an emergency kit. The severe thunderstorms and devastating tornadoes over the weekend were a sobering reminder that emergencies can affect anyone, anytime. Being prepared to act quickly and having plans and supplies in place can eliminate some of the stress in a disaster situation.

We think of ourselves as a large family. I am proud of our group and the atmosphere we generate.
