There should have been preventive measures implemented at the schools when they first saw them going in that direction.

We are hoping the schools will show significant improvements.

That takes Dixon out of my district. That's a relief. That's one less (school) out of my 20 (schools). If it's going to benefit the children, hooray for them.

We all have to take responsibility for the direction we are going. In our schools we are focusing on numbers and letters but we need, from the earliest times, to get across the concept that we are connected to nature and that we are trying to find a space to sustain ourselves.

We start with that, then schools can be moved in either direction. It's worked well for us for years.

We want to wait and see what direction we want to go in.
