There is great freedom for learning and personal development here. Hopefully, we have captured that idea in this anthem.

I tried to write something that is majestic, and perhaps more modern than classical in style.

I wanted to infuse the feeling that the university is growing, in size and in quality. Nostalgia is nice, but not productive. I wanted to inspire forward-thinking anticipation of what the university will become years from now.

Learning something new is fun.

We want every Canadian to have an opportunity to experience the fulfillment, empowerment and freedom that flow from higher learning,

Oil may run out, liquidity may dry up, but as long as ink flows freely, the next chapter of Life will continue to be written.
