There has been a level of complacency that has helped the epidemic spread.

The epidemic of avian flu can now spread on a global scale.

Wading in the waters of complacency does not do me any justice as those waters simply mimic the boisterous demise of the fundamental core of our existence. I’d much rather perform laps within the waters of controversy, as the laps themselves perform their justice.
