There has been a decline in civic participation in general. This began in the 1970s for a variety of reasons and can be seen in lower memberships in labor unions, bowling leagues and organizations like the American Legion.

That's where cultures come in.

This is not a trend we are seeing at Hopkins, in fact our alumni participation has actually increased over the past three years.

Steven has a role in one of the spots for that campaign. His participation in the Interns spots is reduced. We are looking at alternatives for marketing strategy and that is what the Interns campaign represents. We are always looking for ways to represent our brand value.
