There are addicts who commit crimes, and criminals who use dope, ... We have to learn the difference with these sociopaths.

I'm not asking victims to change their behavior. I'm asking perpetrators not to commit crimes.

But which is worse, taking from someone who wants you to, knowing in your soul that you're a monster, or taking from an unwilling person and proving it?

Then there are the addicts, the hunger addicts, the rage addicts, the poverty addicts , and power addicts, and the pure addicts who are addicted not to substances but to the oblivion and the tenderness the substances engender. An addict, if you don't mind me saying so, is like a saint. What is a saint but someone who has cut himself off, voluntarily, from the world's traffic and currency.

Violent crimes in our courthouses must cease and those who commit these heinous crimes must be punished accordingly, including the death penalty for murdering judges, law enforcement officials or their families.
