There are a lot of barriers to kids being successful with this. Transportation is a huge barrier.

Our emphasis is to try to get kids better connected to the community to help them stay out of trouble.

It doesn't mean much to our coaches, and I didn't hear the kids mention it once all week. Whether we're 1 or 10, we're going to practice the same way.

Before, no one had the time or resources to go out and make this happen.

We don't want kids to smoke. Period.

It was a great defensive effort by the kids.
