Their philosophy, in my opinion, was to get out to the voters, as many people as they could, and visit with them. I'm going to try and do the same thing.

The people we have in charge of the (county's) Road and Bridge Department are doing an outstanding job. But I remember when commissioners used to go out and drive through their county roads, instead of waiting on a disgruntled resident to call in and complain. That hasn't happened in Precinct 2 in many, many years.

Our philosophy is to have an offense for every defense thrown at you. We try to respond to whatever we see. We just like to keep it simple. (Kennedy) is getting better, and he's having better decisions to make.
