Their open court and second chances is what won it. We should know better than to try to stand straight up and expect to get rebounds.

We didn't get annihilated and we never gave up, so I'm proud of that. (Gulf Coast) just does an incredible job -- they shot 55 percent from the field during the game -- and I personally believe they probably could be higher in the polls right now than they are.

It was a year of transition. But we did well to keep improving and fighting until the end.

This was a fast tempo game and we couldn't find a defense to stop their (continual) scoring. The shots we did get to fall, we had to earn.

I saw a different side of us (Wednesday). We fell apart and never recovered. We'll learn from it.

If I had my druthers, we wouldn't have made that decision … sometimes business decisions trump technology decisions.
