The unemployment rate is holding at the lowest rate I've seen in years. These are phenomenal times and it's an indication of how attractive Lee County and Southwest Florida are.

With little movement in Ohio's labor market from January to February, the state's unemployment rate was unchanged. We still question whether the dramatic decline in the calculated rate from December to January is fully supported by actual conditions.

That's quite a lot of job candidates hitting the market. It depends on what the timing is going to be. If it is gradual, that would the transition easier.

Hiring continues to be extremely strong.

That's full employment. Lee County continues to be one of the healthiest economies in the state.

With those two new shopping centers in south Lee County, there is a lot of recruitment in the retail industry and anything associated with those centers, including restaurants and the other venues.
