The truth is I go to these meetings, events and meet celebrities, and at that moment it's great. But then I come home, do the laundry and do the dishes.

Regardless of where I am in five years, or where this takes me, I'm going to be singing, writing.

It hasn't been a topic of discussion at the meetings and events I've been to.

To tell you the truth, I think our concentration on the field has been a lot better, ... Even in meetings it's been better, just because it's a welcome distraction. You don't have to think about whether your house is floating down the street. You don't have to think about finding an apartment. You don't have to worry about whether your spouse or your family is going to like their new neighborhood. On the field you're out there doing what you're good at and you're having fun. You don't have to think about all those things until you get back to the hotel and reality sets in.

We still have three big events left this season, and hopefully I will feel better after those. To bring a gold, silver or bronze home for Canada would have been incredible. You have the whole country cheering for you, and nothing compares to that.

His times were a little off, but in his events there really isn't competition for him in our conference.
