The theory is to help others, but to participate (in SHARE) you have to help others however you see fit. It's a win/win program.

We wanted to see how it worked and test the quality and quantity of the food received. I was very impressed with the value, quality and quantity of food. I've been equally impressed with the willingness and eagerness of the volunteers to put this program into action.

There is no age or income restriction. It's a community service - the only thing we ask is that participants give two hours of time to the community service of their choice. It can be volunteering in the church nursery, transporting a neighbor to the doctor, volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club, or helping with the SHARE program.

A theory may be viewed rather broadly as a statement purporting to describe, or to explain, or to help one to understand a phenomenon. More narrowly, a theory may present a claim of truth, or assert the presence of relationships between phenomena, or predict the occurrence of phenomena.

In theory, meeting those standards should help you run the village more effectively. It would allow you to align total revenue with the true costs associated with providing services, including depreciation on buildings, streets, and curb and gutters.

South Bend's problem has been that they have this cute little New England-looking town, nice houses on the hill overlooking the water and so on, and a zillion tourists zip through there every year, but there's nowhere for them to stop and nothing for them to do. When you sit down and analyze it, they have a lot of potential down there.
