The tax code is just as complex as last year, if not a bit more so.

As American taxpayers know too well, the tax code is incredibly complex and compliance is all to expensive.

The key is that people need to be saving in other ways, using investment vehicles, stocks, bonds, and not rely so heavily on their homes as a means of building wealth.

It's only in the 'fair' range probably because of real estate appreciation and stock market gains. It's definitely being dragged down by poor savings behavior.

You want to be doing things that educate them and help them understand their actions have consequences.
