The strongest man is the one who, when he gets angry and his face reddens and his hackles rise, is able to defeat his anger.

When you see a person who has been given more than you in money and beauty, then look to those who have been given less.

If I were to receive a pair of the blessed prophetic sandals to place on my head, then I shall consider myself no less than a fully crowned king.

ليس الشديد بالصرعة؛ إنما الشديد الذي يملك نفسه عند الغضب
The strong person is not the good wrestler. Rather,the strong person is the one who controls himself when he is angry.
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 73, #135)

Assist your Muslim brother, whether he be an oppressor or oppressed. "Bu how shall we do it when he is an oppressor?" inquired a companion. Muhammad replied, "Assisting an oppressor by forbidding and withholding him from oppression.

ما يصيب المسلم من نصب ولا وصب ولا همّ ولا حزن ولا أذى ولا غمّ - حتى الشوكة يشاكها - إلا كفّر الله بها مِن خطاياه
No fatigue, disease, sorrow, sadness, hurt or distress befalls a Muslim - not even the prick he receives from a thorn - except that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it. (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 70, #545)
