The State of Illinois has the fifth biggest economy in the country, but is 35th in growth. That is why I am running. We can and must do better. I know we don't have to be last!

It shows growth for the U.S. economy but also points that the Fed will keep raising rates. Growth is good, but everybody is afraid that the Fed might kill growth if they do hike too much. That is a fear and could be the biggest headwind for equities this year, if it happens.

He's employing the campaign strategy of carefully staged events and big ad buys paid for by special interests and no open debate.

He can't mention ethics because he has failed to keep his promises.

I don't expect him to want to debate. He has a terrible record and no plan for the future.

The Governor has had four years to clean up pay-to-play politics in Illinois. He hasn't done it. The U.S. Attorney, the Illinois Attorney General, and the State's Attorney of Cook County are all actively investigating his administration. Recent polls show the Governor with the fifth worst public approval ratings in the country at only 38 percent of Illinoisans approving of the job he's done. The same polls have him losing the general election to the Republicans.
