The state did some re-leveling of standards so it was hard for us to know how we did compared to last year. That's the frustrating part. Instead we must compare how we did against the state; from that angle we are very pleased.

This is the second survey we have conducted with Campus RN, and each year we uncover something new in recruitment trends. We believe the results offer health care organizations a framework to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses so they may better meet the needs of this important health care recruitment target audience.

Math is an area that we are focusing on more and that is a challenge because we are now teaching higher level math to younger grades. Next year will be a better reflection of the results that we will achieve through new math programs we put in place this year.

Teachers are doing assessments already. We are trying to fill the gaps now. We're not waiting until December to fill gaps.

They warned us that this could happen when they took the other building down. I hoped this wouldn't happen.
