The standards we've set allows guys like Kevin to know we're a program on the rise. We had one of the best seasons in Texas basketball history, and we want to carry on the legacy.

Once you come to Texas, you automatically get that feeling that you're striving for excellence.

It's just a winning school. You always equate Texas with winning and working hard. All the way around, Texas, the school, the state, we're giving everybody something to be proud of.

I did a lot of other things besides scoring the basketball. I got my guys a lot of open looks. I played good defense. I think I had a good all around game, but I attribute a lot of my game to my teammates. The way they pushed me and motivated me to keep playing hard.

We weren't getting a lot of movement. A lot of things were stagnated. They did a great job of packing the middle and stopping a lot of the drives inside. Once we got it moving, it was a lot easier for us to get baskets.

People weren't afraid to go to Texas anymore.
