The Somali children were not getting an effective education.

To the average person, my life seemed successful, but when they look past the appearance of education , skill, business deals and church service, I’m a man with a disease of addiction. Children who are treated as if they are uneducable almost invariably become uneducable

Just as children in the San Joaquin Valley deserve access to a UC education, children here also deserve access to the high quality health care that the UC could bring to this area.
