The role we fell into is spoilers. We want to be on other side of that. It's not like we're playing for nothing. A win or loss on our record can affect other teams and races.

I don't really like the word 'cocky' and it's been used a lot with myself, ... But I'm not cocky. I'm confident. I feel like with a big name on the mound, as soon as I step into the batter's box, you're like, 'Oh great, I've got to face this guy,' or, 'Oh no, this guy throws hard.' If you think that, you're already out. Those guys on the mound are just as cocky or arrogant as anyone else. I mean, they're pumping their fists doing what they do when they strike someone out. But I think it's just magnetized by me because I'm just a rookie.

We've still got some big guys down in St. Pete that we can't wait to get back, so we're not clicking on all cylinders by any means. It's not even close and even then, we're hanging with some big teams. So we'll see how it works out.

We're on a tear right now. We're really starting to gel as a club. We've (won) consistently enough since the All-Star break to show it's not a fluke.
