The process has to be methodical. We deal with inherently hazardous materials. If we're not safe, we've got trouble.

During a hazardous materials incident you may not want to go to the basement. You may want to upstairs.

This is not going to be easy folks, it's not going to be fast. Recovery is a slow, methodical process.

Nuclear power can never be made inherently safe. There is always a danger. But there's also always a danger with any form of electricity generation. The goal is to have that risk managed to an acceptably low level.

Hazardous materials or toxic materials are a real threat.

If we don't pull the hazardous materials out of the marsh, they're going to sink in and we're going to be looking at groundwater issues and wildlife issues and adverse impacts to recreation for decades to come.
