The primary reason to do it is to encourage the kids to get out in a non-competitive environment. They don't have to compete with adults for space.

There are tremendous changes happening in the environment but nobody really knows where it all is going. And the reason is that we don't know how major eco-systems such as oceans work,

That way when kids come back in as much of a germ free environment as possible.

I really believe kids want to do well. It's a coach's job to create an environment for them to be successful.
