The pre- announcement season has been fairly mild.

All (the pre-season accolades) are good honors, but I'm just one of nine players. I couldn't do it without my other eight.

Things still look to be fairly mild next week, even into two weeks. We don't see the return of that arctic air.

The only thing it means to me is my good pre-season didn't go unnoticed. I've still got to get better each day. My goal is to be No. 1. Obviously, it's not going to happen for a few years.

You always need to get an early goal. We came here pre-season, scored early on, and it ended up being five or six. We always knew it would be a hard tie coming to a place like this.

Frankly, it was tough to tell which team was in their pre-season and which one wasn't.
