The policies apparently are working. We have stronger enforcement and the message about bringing guns to schools is getting through.

The evidence is unclear. There's research on both sides.

We're not saying law enforcement should not be a part of the solution; we are saying it should not be the solution. We welcome law enforcement as partners.

The reason why the audit was done is basically to learn more about what is going on and to correct mistakes. The state basically agreed that there were some problems and that they were going to fix it.

We did a survey nationwide for schools and realized that we were drastically below the norm. We just brought it up to the average.

We had a really good start in all of our schools. It went exceptionally well. It was almost like our schools just closed for the weekend.
