The players wanted it bad this year. Every year we set goals and that was one of them. Finishing No. 1 is really special because it can never be taken away from us.

We are just trying not to become complacent and just staying hungry. We're working hard to stay No. 1.

Once you earn the No. 1 ranking, the toughest part is holding on to it.

Playing basketball at the Naval Academy has been a great opportunity for all of us. We've accomplished some goals and not others, but along the way we've learned a lot and grown a lot.
