The people on this committee need to be willing to discuss anything and everything. Leave your sensitivity at home.

My inclination is to support this letter, and support it now.

If we didn't want more, we wouldn't be having this discussion. I would simply say, yes, fund our budget.

That is, almost basically, a mandate. If we want to open that school, we've got to have those things.

This is so fundamental that most people take it for granted, and it only really hits home when they find out too late that there's been a decision made that directly affects them. They get real angry when they find out the decision was made in secret. This law will clarify for members of the public and public officials what business must be conducted in the open.

They'd much rather work back at home where they're familiar with their people,
