The only time we get any relief is when the rain falls.

From 6 a.m. until at night, the trucks go up to the dump, and every time they go up there they stir up the dust. They either bring more dust or they stir up what's already on the road.

They say this dump will take 16 years to fill up. I hope we don't have to wait 16 years to get our problems solved.

It is frustrating that we haven't had a tournament in such a long time. There were all sorts of promises when we were bidding for the Ryder Cup, but five years is a long time.

I haven't had a lot of time to watch a lot of my former players coach, but when I do, it's always a real treat. When the time comes that I'm not going to do this anymore, I'm definitely going to go watch them more.

John is active here in our Devon Club, which he was president of at one time. He and his wife would attend a lot of the dances here.
