the only thing that can make your situation hopless, is an unwillingess to do anything and move in any direction, be it up, down, forward, or back, one step can bring you hope.

Hope is a curious thing. You always seem to loose it when you most need it.

I longed to be bright and most certainly never was. I was rather hopeless, I suspect.

From time to time, the show has moved in a certain direction -- softer or harder. But obviously we hope that world events dictate the direction we go in.

The human body experiences a powerful gravitational pull in the direction of hope. That is why the patient's hopes are the physician's secret weapon. They are the hidden ingredients in any prescription.
