The notion that we should not have our ports operated by foreign companies is ludicrous, and indicates someone is not understanding how the global marketplace works today.

There are lots of foreign companies that are reluctant to get into that market, because it's not a market where they can sell an equivalent vehicle at home.

The steady increase in the international liquidity position indicates that the Bank is not just buying foreign exchange as quickly as it can, but also that at the same time it continues to be mindful of its responsibility not to upset the markets in their quest to accumulate foreign exchange.

Every vote here indicates that this is not bipartisan.

This is not unlike what is happening at many U.S. ports.

There is the pessimistic notion that this is not going to go away and that's going to have a more lasting impact on driving habits and behavior, I suspect, than we've seen so far.
