[The new order] will allow us to continue our plans for managed, relatively modest growth, in line with our expectations of the market. It [also] lets us begin planning for the orderly retirement of our DC-10 fleet.

After those several years of great growth, people's expectations have been very high - probably too high. And at the first sign of a slowdown they react they other way.

We expect that this order will help us gain a widespread customer base in China, contribute to our revenue growth in 2006 and lead to higher fiber sales and increased profit in 2007 and beyond.

The bottom line for us is we are experiencing excellent revenue growth..., ... We have good expectations for the fourth quarter and all of 2006.

Growth was lower than expectations because of inventories -- which will need to be rebuilt -- while moderating employment costs will make it less costly for firms to hire additional workers. The still-strong level of wage and salary should buoy consumption.

Strong figures will boost expectations of higher growth in consumer spending in the U.S.. That will heighten expectations of at least two more rate hikes from the Fed, supporting the dollar.
