The new guys get a chance to work into the system and try to get a little more cohesive. We did all right. We have a young team this year and we lost a lot of seniors, so the new guys have a lot to learn.

To have that many goalies is tough. You have to be cohesive with your defense. With seven or eight guys, you never know what will happen there night to night. I know that if I can be solid we have a great chance to win.

I would definitely be concerned about turnover in a congressional staff. If you don't have a cohesive group, you can't get the job done.

They're a pretty cohesive unit. They were a little bit more individual last year in their play, but their team chemistry is really good now.

It's going to be good to look out and see someone that you know, and get a chance to see Chauncey and Rip in that first game for the first time. That will be exciting for them. It's going to be good for the whole team. It's going to be good for the city of Detroit to look up at that All-Star Game and see all four Pistons out there.

You come out to set the tone, get ahead, work the count. I didn't even give myself a chance. I didn't throw a ball that was close.
