The moment-of-conception fallacy implies that fertilization is a simple process with never a doubt as to whether it has or has not happened.

The whole process broke down. We don't know what happened.

Why now? Why didn't we know this (then)? What happened to the discernment process?

The process must be simple and affordable.

Truth is used to vitalize a statement rather than devitalize it. Truth implies more than a simple statement of fact. "I don't have any whiskey," may be a fact but it is not a truth.
