The little dogs are allowed on the big-dog side, but the big dogs aren't allowed on the little-dog side. It may not be fair to the big dogs, but it is safer for the little ones.

We have never really had any problems that I know of. Occasionally there are little scuffles -- between dogs or humans -- but nothing serious.

We average 200 dogs per weekend. Weekdays are slower.

We also make sure the leashes come off before they enter. Letting the dog run in on a leash can create chaos.

We just had a meeting about that and most of the people who come here know that we will eventually have a cost.

Because dogs live in the present. Because dogs don't hold grudges. Because dogs let go of all their anger daily, hourly, and never let it fester. They absolve and forgive with each passing minute. Every turn of a corner is the opportunity for a clean slate. Every bounce of a ball brings joy and the promise of a fresh chase.
