There is no enemy of such a man but even if there are, he is able to vanquish them. His popularity in the society increases on account of his successes and good deeds.

By propagating knowledge thus, an ideal scholar clears the darkness of ignorance and as a result the society treads on the path of peace, progress and prosperity.

Knowledge removes the darkness of ignorance and thus helps even the most ignorant man to become knowledgeable.

The fire of knowledge is capable of destroying these enemies. Ignorance (darkness) can be destroyed by knowledge of self.
