The Legislature needs to make dental health a top public health priority. Our organization is doing all it can to help accomplish that goal, which is why passing AB 1334 is so critical.

It is scandalous that the California Dental Association continues to protect its dental monopoly at the expense of those who need care the most. AB 1334 is necessary to expand critical access to care for millions of Californians.

The foundation's report is shocking in that it revealed how California has remained frozen in time for the past decade. We've seen virtually no improvement in addressing the severe problem of dental disease throughout our state.

We'll be meeting the health-care needs of the folks down there.

It's not about health care. No one needs to put away $10,000 a year and have it accumulate to hundreds of thousands of dollars to pay for health care.

At 104, she needs to continue to be in good health as she is.
