The last inning he was throwing better than (the earlier innings). He did a good job of finishing.

Getting to play superheros is a pretty good job.

This team knows their job is to score runs and win every inning. Whoever wins the most innings usually wins the ball game.

The pitching was solid. Jake did a good job of getting out of that inning. If we're going to do anything state-wise, we've got to have Jake throwing well.
