The kids love the puppets. They ask questions, like what does Dr. Snow do on the job, or how did nurse Paul get to work in a hospital. Sometimes it gets noisy, but I want them to enjoy themselves.

We had about 17 inches with that last big storm we had out here, but that was light, fluffy snow. This one is a lot harder (to shovel), and it's really icy underneath. It's really slippery.

This is our fourth meet, and three of them have been in rain and snow. The kids are getting used to it. You'd think we live in Washington or something.

It kind of bothers me about the parks because it runs through January right? So the first snow, kids run out to horseshoe hill and they are going to be sledding while the guys are a little further to the west in the trees,

He was a kid and was into kids. He would play in the snow with them, even play baby dolls.

It has deepened the bond between my kids and me. They have a way to communicate with me beyond crying. We pay better attention to each other, and I'm excited about what they are going to do next.
