The kids are getting the message, ... Lewis & Clark Fire Expedition.

I am proud of how the kids have played so hard game after game, but they still have come up on the short end. I hope the kids will be rewarded soon for the effort they've given lately.

Just for one of our kids to get a job and raise a family well ... those are kids we're proudest of.

Unfortunately, there does seem to be a need for younger kids' treatment. Nobody does anything until there's a problem.

When you go into coaching, the ultimate goal is to make the kids grow into good human beings, fathers and husbands. But there is also the competition. Sometimes my competitiveness was greater than my kids'.

He's been on fire. We've been facing good pitching and the kids have been competing. That's all I ask for. We've been swinging the bat well. It was nice to see us get some two-out hits.
