The investigation conducted by the local police does not inspire confidence. Though on the face of the material collected by police, Vijay is facing trial before the juvenile court, yet with a view to bring the truth to surface and rule out any lurking doubt which might persist in the mind of the deceased's mother, the court is of the opinion that the matter be entrusted for further investigations by an independent agency.
