The horse is doing well, but for myself, let's say it's possible that business goes in cycles. It's been disappointing but, hopefully, things will improve, starting Sunday.

He works longer distances because you have to be very fit to run in these races. He went a very good three-quarters in 1:12 4/5 last week and then a nice five-eighths a few days ago, where he galloped out another furlong in 1:14. He's doing well.

He's out of conditions; so he can't run in an allowance race. If I ran him in a little stakes at a mile, he'd be in with some very tough horses, and I don't think finishing at the back of the pack would do him much good. So we just train him up to the races.

He had a very good trip, and it was a good ride. I saw when he got position he was in good shape. I was very happy, and it's very nice to win a race like this - and I need to win.

I didn't expect business to boom right away. I know it will pick up.
