The holiday season can be an especially trying time for our service men, women, and families. Military service and deployment create empty seats at holiday tables, religious services, and celebrations.

Our military men and women face some of life's most difficult situations in service to our country. We appreciate their dedication and commitment, and we're glad we can help bring some fun and excitement to everyone at these five bases through the NBA experience.

We have kept memorabilia from our days in military service. When we realized that Marge was eligible for a presidential unit citation, and medals and ribbons designating places where the hospital shop docked and she served during the war, I went to work. It took a lot of paperwork and phone calls, but I am pleased she finally will get her awards.
